Hey guys! What’s up? How you going?
I know it’s already almost mid December and I haven’t even finished one book yet, but I decided that I still wanted to post a December TBR. And since I have finished school – but unfortunately still have holiday homework😭 – I will hopefully have more time for reading, and I really hope I get through all these books this month/early next month!(because y’all know I will probably not finish them all in December!)
The first book I want to finish this month is City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare. This was on my November TBR and I am currently reading it, so I hope to finish it in the next week. This is currently my least favourite book in the series and I feel like nothing in really happening. I’m not feeling very inclined to pick it up, but when I do, I tend to not want to put it back down! I just want to get into more action and mystery, and it’s just been kind of repetitive so far.
The second book I want to read this month is (sadly) a school book; Elli: Coming of Age in the Holocaust by Livia E. Bitton Jackson. It sounds really interesting and I hope I read it pretty quickly because my friend read it in a day and a bit. I’ll probably need to re-read it as well in January, so we’ll see how it goes! Comment below if you’ve read it before, for school or not, and tell me your thoughts. It’s apparently meant to be a pretty dark and graphic so I hope it doesnt get me into a reading slump!
I also plan to start and HOPEFULLY (hopefully!) finish Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I’m so excited to delve back into that world of Victorian London and Shadoworld and I hope I can finish it this month! I want to drag out this series as much as possible, but I also want to be up to date with it, especially when Lord of Shadows is about to come out!
The last book I plan to read in December is Frostblood by Elly Blake. I got accepted to read this book early as an eBook by NetGalley, so thank you NetGalley, Hachette Australia and Hodder & Stoughton for the book. On the GoodReads page for this novel it says ‘Frostblood is set in world where flame and ice are mortal enemies – but together create a power that could change everything.’ I hope it turns out well. I’ll be doing a spoiler free review for this book. Frostblood comes out on January 10th, 2017!
I hope to finish or at least start all these books this month/the remainder of this month!
What book are you most excited about reading this month?
