HEY GUYS!
Welcome to week #18 of the Down the TBR Hole challenge!
Here are the rules:
- Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books.
- Read the synopsis’ of the books.
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
THE BOOKS:
Unfiltered by Lily Collins – I love Lily Collins, but I don’t think I’ll ever read her biography unless I got hold of the audiobook.
The Verdict: GO
Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza – I know I’ll enjoy this book, I just need to read more sci-fi! This cover is also gorgeous!! (I just noticed there is a girl in the moon!!)
The Verdict: KEEP
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas – I actually hope to read this one very soon! Everyone loves it and I’m hoping I’ll love it too.
The Verdict: KEEP
The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid – Another sci-fi I need to pick up! The synopsis grabbed me when I first read it and it did it again! I just need to make time to sit down and read it.
The Verdict: KEEP
The Young Elites by Marie Lu – OMG THAT SYNOPSIS! My brain is telling me to pick this one up right now!! Marie Lu is an author that I need to read from, ASAP!!
The Verdict: KEEP
The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson – I loved Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson, and this one seems to be giving me some of the same vibes. I love a good contemporary and I think this would be a great summer read!
The Verdict: KEEP
The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich – All I can say is that I need this book in my life because it sounds so awesome and different.
The Verdict: KEEP
Half Bad by Sally Green – I’ve never really read about witches before (well besides Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone which I read this month) and the plot looks exciting! I also know Steph from Igniting Pages really loves this series, so Steph, if you’re reading this, I’ll try to read it soon, but there’s no guarantees!
The Verdict: KEEP
Not If I See You First by Eric Lindstrom – I’m currently reading another book about a blind person and I’m loving it. I’m actually planning to read this soon and I hope it’s just as awesome as the one I’m reading now! I think I’m going to start actively trying to find other novels about people with a visual or hearing impairment because the descriptions are very unique.
The Verdict: KEEP
Serpentine by Cindy Pon – I’m all for books about Asian culture and history, and Asian MC, so this is an obvious keep! This novel sounds enchanting!
The Verdict: KEEP
Total:
KEPT: 9 | DROPPED: 1
(I did so bad this time, but how could I not keep most over these?)
Thanks for reminding me how much I need to get around to THUG- I’m hoping to read it this month ☺
